I did another session for fitness trainer David Lewis last week. He wanted some bold, carefully lit, semi-posed portraits of him doing his routine. I hope he likes them, including this of his a bicep-curl.

John and his son Harley were at least 6 people back in the queue for the temporary tattoo stall. I was in a rush to get to my next appointment but this was too good to miss so I sat it out.

A few weeks back Ben moved to Cardiff to shoot for the agency Wales News. He may be gone but he's not forgotten. One of Ben's favourite compositional techniques was the frame within a frame. Whenever I see something I can poke my lens through I do it in homage to him.

Beck and I have been thinking about our next house move. We've not yet figured out where or what we want but thought we'd put our house on the market and see what happens. I decided it was a good opportunity to do some interior photography. It's not nearly as straightforward as you might think.

I struggled to get my head round this one but got there eventually: A block of flats named after a character in a Jane Austen novel. The kids chose the name and donned the Regency garb in celebration.

I enjoy chamber of commerce networking meetings. At the latest one Kelly-Jean from Phillips Solicitors gave an interesting talk on the cost of recruitment and her firm shouted me lunch.
