The Bramley Frith electrical substation today took delivery of a 150 tonne transformer. I got caught behind the slow-moving convoy on the M3 but a cheeky undertaking manouvre via Winchester Services got me there in good time to watch its arrival. The three-metre-wide, 76-metre-long vehicle was expertly driven along the narrow lanes while the villagers all turned out to watch. More.
