As part of the run-up to the 90th anniversary of the formation of the RAF I today got a ride on the RAF Chinook helicopter 'Bravo November' from its base at Odiham to the RAF museum in Hendon. There I met Air Chief Marshal Sir Glen Torpy and 111-year-old Henry Allingham, who is Britain's oldest man, a veteran of World War 1 and a founder member of the Royal Air Force. More.
