Dave made it to the final round of a contest to break the Guinness World Record for the amount of icecream one person can eat in thirty seconds with a teaspoon. His reaction afterwards was like nothing I've seen. He sank back into his own little world, shaking, and looking like he could have spewed at any moment. I had my camera ready just in case. As one of the marshalls asked me to give him some space, I felt a bit like photographer Boris Yaro at the assassination of Bobby Kennedy - "Let go lady; this is history".
